The Adcom GTP-400 is a highly regarded vintage stereo tuner-preamplifier introduced in the late 1980s (around 1988) and manufactured into the 1990s. Adcom was famous during this era for its "no-frills, high-performance" philosophy. By combining a high-quality AM/FM tuner with a dedicated stereo preamplifier on a single chassis, the GTP-400 allowed audiophiles to save space without suffering the sonic compromises of a mass-market, all-in-one integrated receiver.
